Xi Guan Heritage Streets
Xi Guan was
the neighbourhood for the rich and famous of Guangzhou two centuries ago.
The Xi Guan
Mansions are compared with the quadrangle courtyards of Beijing and the old alleys of Shanghai as "memory ports" of the
city.
Here you may
appreciate the old ways of life, shown by the delicate architectural
structures. Walking into a Xi Guan heritage street gives you the feeling of
taking a step back in time to another age.
