Located in the core area of Shougang Park which is known as a "New Landmark of Beijing's Urban Renaissance", Shangri-La Shougang Park, Beijing embraces the stunning view of Shijingshan and Qunming Lake. Shijingshan, an extension of the Taihang Mountains at the east of Yongding River, is crowned as the "First Immortal Mountain" with a height of only 184 m. As early as in the Neolithic Period, people lived and multiplied in this place where King Yu tamed the flood and King Zhao of Yan built three famous palaces and one pavilion later.
