Dufu Thatched Cottage 

Dufu Thatched Cottage was once home to the famous Chinese poet Dufu. Crowds have visited the place to catch a glimpse of this historical life and view the beautiful buildings that make the site a wonderful place to visit.

The main building of Dufu Thatched Cottage is the Hall of Verse History, which houses a majestic statue of Dufu.

Outside the Hall, visitors can see the Flower Bathing Brook lazily meandering through the building of Dufu Thatched Cottage.

Giant Panda Breeding Research Base

The Giant Panda Breeding Research Base is one of the must visit attractions when holidaying in Chengdu.

Home to quite a few giant pandas, the site plays a threefold role of being a breeding centre, a research centre and a museum that focuses on the well-being and protection of these lovable animals.

The landscaping of the park at the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base is scenic and picturesque. The place combines the natural habitat of giant pandas with man-made structures to enhance the breeding and rearing of the animals.

People’s Park 

People's Park is prized for its beautiful scenery, monuments and teahouse. The park holds a bonsai rockery, swimming pools and the Monument to the Martyrs of the Railway Protection Movement.

Wenshu Temple 

Wenshu Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Chengdu. The temple is dedicated to Manjusri Bodhisatva (Wenshu Pusa), who was an enlightened being venerated by the locals for his wisdom.

Among its precious relics, one can find the skull of Xuanzang - a popular Chinese Buddhist monk from Tang Dynasty, Japanese gold scripture cylinder and Indian pattra-leaf with Sanskrit incantations.

privately-owned shops selling branded products at affordable prices.

Qingshiqiao in particular is one of the interesting places to wander and shop. The vicinity sells seafood, animals, birds and dried foods.
