Chef Shanmuga Raja Ravi

Born and raised in the southern coastal region of Chennai, India, Chef Shanmuga Raja Ravi said the abundance of seafood in his hometown was the reason he became familiar with various sea produce. Before joining Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa as Chef de Cuisine, Chef Raja previously worked and trained under Michelin-star chefs, helping him improve his culinary skills. A firm believer of offering fresh sustainable products from “sea to table,” Chef Raja and his team “always try to keep the best plate on the table, with the highest quality ingredients and dining experience for guests.”
