The park was built by the Great Khan centuries before the Forbidden City.

Olympic Park

Constructed upon the arrival of the Olympic Games to Beijing, the Olympic Park, or the Beijing Olympic Green as it is commonly known, is one of the most eye-catching areas of the city and covers an expanse of approximately 1, 135 hectares.
