The heritage village offers a taste of the pre-oil
era, with insight into Bedouin life, as well as courtyard houses, wind towers,
and examples of ancient irrigation systems used in the region’s oases.
Qasr Al Hosn
Qasr Al Hosn was built in 1793 as the official
residence of the rulers. It is now adjacent to cultural foundations where
visitors can enjoy exhibitions, concert, lectures and other events during the
course of the year.
