Pan Fried Beef Steak with Black Pepper Sauce


  • 100g U.S. beef rib eye
  • 2 stalks fresh green asparagus
  • 5ml soya oil               
  • 3g chicken stock powder
  • 3g ground black pepper
  • 2g flour
  • 2g fruity sauce
  • 1g garlic, peeled
  • 14g butter
  • 14g tomato ketchup
  • 14g light soy sauce
  • 3g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mango (optional)


  1. Marinate the beef in a mixture of soya oil, ground black pepper, fruity sauce and flour. Set aside.
  2. Sauté the asparagus and add the garlic, chicken stock powder and flour.
  3. Pan fry the marinated beef.
  4. To make the sauce, melt butter and add tomato ketchup, light soy sauce, chicken stock powder and sugar. Mix well.
  5. Place a small amount of the black pepper sauce on a plate before arranging the steak over. Top with the asparagus and chopped fresh mangoes (optional).
