Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore Ushers in an Auspicious Lunar New Year with Bountiful Feasts

Singapore, 10 December 2018 – Ring in a prosperous Year of the Pig with a plethora of
feasts at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore from 4 February to 10
February 2019.

Longevity Delights at Barnacles by the Sea (Level 1 by the waterfront) 

Celebrate new beginnings with A Bountiful Spring, an eight-course set menu featuring
perennial favourites, or feast on crabs with the Fortune Crab Extravaganza, and
indulge in a selection of crab dishes including crabmeat seafood broth, crabmeat fried
rice, chilli, black pepper or salted egg crab and more.

For a leisurely celebratory reunion brunch by the waterfront, the Festive Sunday
Brunch awaits, serving fresh seafood, prime ribs, lamb rack carvings, an assortment of
caviar and festive desserts. While the adults dine, children will be entertained by fun
activities, and the celebration will extend beyond brunch, with post-
meal access to the resort’s swimming pool, children’s splash pad and water slides.

Celebratory Buffets at Silver Shell Cafe (Level 3) 

Get a head start on the festivities with tantalising buffet spreads at Silver Shell Cafe,
the resort’s all-day dining outlet, featuring traditional must-haves, such as Roasted
Suckling Pig and Salmon Yu Sheng for diners to usher in the Lunar New Year on an
auspicious note.

In addition to the selection of fresh seafood and delectable roasts, diners can also look
forward to other festive specialities including Braised Vegetables with Dried Oysters
and Black Moss, Mini Claypot Steamboat with fresh hand-pulled noodles by Hand-
pulled Noodles Master Chef (拉面师傅) Wang Wen Xiao, a new addition to the resort’s
culinary team, and end the meal on a sweet note with Fried Nian Gao, a traditional
Chinese glutinous rice cake.
