Nanjing, 2 November 215, – Shangri-La Hotel, Nanjing won the Best MICE Hotel Award at City Traveler publication’s Best Hotel Award ceremony held in Shanghai on 28 October 2015. The hotel features a convenience location, comfortable hotel environment, well-appointed banquet facilities and the famous Shangri-La hospitality.
City Traveler publication has a good reputation and huge influence in the publication industry. Following hospitality and readers’ preferences, arranging expert investigations to experience the hotel’s facilities and services, listening to guest comments, and planning and making preparations in nearly a year, City Traveler utilized the professional point of view to presented in awarding Shangri-La Hotel, Nanjing the Best MICE Hotel Award, a great recognition for the hotel on its the first opening year.
Shangri-La Hotel, Nanjing opened its doors on 14 November 2014 with 450 guestrooms and suites. Overlooking the pristine Xuanwu Lake that features a park – dotted with temples, pagodas, pavilions, teahouses and other attractions, the hotel is situated next to an underground train station that offers easy access to every direction of the city.  Within the hotel are flexible meeting spaces including a 2,100-square-metre, Grand Ballroom capable of accommodating up to 1,910 guests for a reception, and a smaller ballroom that can hold 550 guests. Eight other further function rooms, some of which provide natural daylight, and a VIP room are available.
