Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou and wedding service company, Aurora, held Signature Wedding “Shang Love” themed wedding fair in the Grand Ballroom of the hotel’s third floor on 25 August 2013. The event has brought new high-end wedding trends for new couples.
With a magnificent 1,725-square-metre space and an impressive 7.5-metre-high ceiling, the pillar-free Grand Ballroom at Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou is elegantly designed for banquets with over 1,000 guests.
With its giant LED screen, sound and light control, high-tech 3D holographic projection effect, high-altitude hanging decorations, the Grand Ballroom was turned into a fantastic forest for a dreamy wedding. A forest-themed wedding, which is characterised by its purity and fantasy, is now very popular worldwide. It brings new couples a fairytale-like memory of their wedding.
In addition, the hotel also invited an international wedding dress brand – Bridal Signature from Hong Kong – as the wedding dress show’s sponsor and show director. Chief designer Daniel Chan presented his signature designs and led the guests to an unprecedented international high-end refined show.
A unique hotel chefs’ show opened the wedding fair. Since its grand opening, the hotel has served almost 2,000 wedding banquets and more than 400,000 wedding guests. The hotel’s experienced events staff, skilled chef team and well-trained banquet team have been providing a perfect wedding experience. They place high quality on each wedding and bring each couple unforgettable memories.
On the event day, Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou released its 2014 Signature Wedding Packages and treated guests to the finest pre-drinks. Newly appointed Pastry Chef Henry Yang created a dessert wedding dress with a chocolate and marzipan cake, which became the focus of the event. Four giant homemade wedding cakes also brought much surprise to the guests.
The hotel and Aurora prepared various gifts for the guests. In addition to Aurora’s exclusive discount on wedding products, the hotel offered a 15 per cent discount on banquet consumption for guests booked that day. Guests who booked within two weeks also enjoyed 8 per cent discount on banquet consumption.
