All these activities take place at the hotel’s Grand Ballroom or in the gallery. The artwork was curated by the Shangshanyahe Cultural and Art Centre, located on the second floor of the hotel.
“This introduction of this art exhibition and room package is quite timely,” says Raymond Teo, general manager. “Our hotel is centrally located within Beijing and guests have constantly asked us about going to the 798 District. We thought it would be a good idea to create a package where they can explore that wonderful area while at the same time, we can bring some of the art world into our own hotel space.”
The hotel is also taking the opportunity to present its new menu to guests interested in new style Cantonese dishes and healthy living. The new menu contains 15 gourmet categories including typical Cantonese Dishes like Barbecued and Marinated dishes, traditional Canton Soup, Live Seafood and Abalone. The new menu also includes local cuisines from Beijing, Sichuan, and Huaiyang, organic vegetarian dishes with seasonal ingredients, and exquisite desserts for ladies. Chef Kam leads his team creating brand new cooking method and focus on raising their cooking skills with a variety of cooking methods like stir-fry and sautéed in magnificent sauce to provide nutritious and yummy dishes.
