Yakiniku Jyu


  • 100g beef, thin sliced
  • 40g onion, sliced
  • 20g spring onion, sliced
  • 150g rice, steamed
  • cooking oil

Ingredients for sauce

  • 1 tbsp kikoman soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp cooking sweet sake
  • 1 tbsp cooking sake
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp fish stock soup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil


  1. Cut the sliced beef into preferred size.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a wok to smoking point and pan-fry the sliced beef with onion and spring onion for approx. 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour all the sauce ingredients into the pan and stir for another minute.
  4. After cooking, pour on the steamed rice. Served hot.
