Surabaya, 22 August 2017 – The mooncake is a traditional pastry of the Mid-Autumn Festival, which commemorates the lunar goddess.
Let Shang Palace’s Chinese Dim Sum Chef Nick Ng impresses you with his delectable renditions of classic mooncake flavours. Classic flavours and favourites include Red Bean Paste, Lotus Seed Paste with Egg Yolk and White Lotus Seed Paste.
Under his direction, Shang Palace has also prepared four NEW moon cakes, including Baked Black Sesame and Snow-Skin Mooncakes with White Lotus with Chocolate, Pandan Paste with Sour Cheese and Tausa with Almond Flakes that added crunchiness to the classic baked mooncake.
These exquisite culinary creations are presented in luxurious packages and available at Rp 428,000+ and Rp 798,000+ from 20 August to 4 October 2017.
The moon cakes are available for purchase at a dedicated booth in the lobby.  Guests may enjoy 25% early-bird savings when ordering between now and 3 September 2017.
