Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in the Philippines Receive TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in the Philippines, namely Makati Shangri-La and Edsa Shangri-La in Manila, Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa and Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa, have all been cited with the 2013 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

TripAdvisor is the world’s largest and most reliable travel site, offering trusted, authentic advice and recommendations from real travelers. The annual Certificate of Excellence honors the best in the hospitality industry and is given to establishments that maintain an overall rating of four or higher out of a possible five, as reviewed by TripAdvisor travelers over the last 12 months. The Certificate of Excellence also places the Shangri-La Philippine properties in the top-performing 10 percent of all businesses worldwide on TripAdvisor. 

Whether in the urban cityscape of Manila or the idyllic islands of Cebu and Boracay, the group’s signature Shangri-La service and heartfelt hospitality, consistently delivered across all properties, creates delightful guest experiences, which then translate into positive online reviews.
