Manila, 2 May 2014 – Makati Shangri-La Manila’s Shang Palace celebrates the Teun Ng or Dragon Boat Festival with specially prepared rice dumplings in an assortment of flavors from Dim Sum Chef Leung Ka Fai available from May 26 to June 7, 2014.
Zhong Zi is traditionally served during the Tuen Ng or Dragon Boat Festival and is made out of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings then wrapped in bamboo leaves. Guests may have a taste of savory flavors such as the three treasure abalone, satay peanut, mushroom chicken and double lotus.
Diners may opt to feast on special set menus that include dishes such as stuffed sea cucumber and black mushroom with mashed shrimp, roast duck with plum sauce and braised abalone with seafood, to name a few. Set menus are available for lunch and dinner starting from P3,546 net.
