Guests are invited to the new semi-buffet at Café Noir in Traders Upper East Hotel, Beijing. Appetisers, soups and desserts are served buffet-style with the guest’s choice of eight main courses from the menu.
For only Rmb128 plus 15 per cent surcharge per person, the semi-buffet includes seafood, lamb chops and cured meats. The new semi-buffet menu offers guests the chance to create a personal salad from a base of eight signature salads and cold appetisers. The buffet spread also includes freshly prepared sashimi and sushi, two signature Western and Chinese soups, eight signature desserts with a chocolate fountain, and a selection of fine ice cream.
For an additional Rmb70, a selection of eight Western and Asian main courses is offered from the restaurant’s menu of cuisine from around the world. The main courses include Western Beef Cheek Stew; Charcoal Grilled Pork Ribs; Linguine Vongole; Pan-Fried Fillet of Black Cod with Potato Purée; Indian Chicken Curry; and Nori Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Teriyaki Shitake, Sour Cream and Wasabi. Guests opting for a main course will receive a complimentary glass of wine to be served with the restaurant’s signature appetiser.
