Tokyo, 10 July 2014 – Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, renowned for providing guests a tranquil retreat in the heart of the city, presents the Omoiyari ila Healing Menu, a new collaboration with British luxury organic spa specialist ila, exclusively at CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La. Omoiyari takes its meaning from the Japanese word, kind heartedness. The menu is designed to restore your body’s energy and rejuvenate your skin by treating you with a kind-hearted spirit combined with ila products blended with organic ingredients.
Ahead of the launch of Body Oil for Inner Peace, the new menu offers a range of revitalising treatments incorporating the new body oil, in the atmosphere of an urban sanctuary. It includes one facial and three body treatments, all based on a holistic approach and utilising organic ingredients.
ila creates the world’s finest spa treatments and products, partnering with some of the world’s leading luxury spas and retailers. With a philosophy of Beyond Organic, ila products are completely free of synthetic chemicals, achieved by sourcing directly from local producers who cultivate and harvest the raw ingredients in harmony with nature.
ila’s artisan skincare products are hand-blended in a consciously created environment of peace and purity in the heart of the English countryside to ensure that the finished holistic products contain all the exquisitely pure energy from nature.
All treatments include the Body Oil for Inner Peace, a beautiful blend of ylang ylang, known to be meditative and soothing to the nervous system, and jasmine, which deeply relaxes while uplifting the body’s system.
The Omoiyari ila Healing Menu includes the Omoiyari Inner Peace Crystal Healing Facial (90 minutes), which uses Tibetan techniques and the healing power of crystals to release tension and encourage regeneration. Himalayan salt crystals are combined with pearl and jasmine for the energy-restoring Omoiyari (Pearl and Jasmine) Scrub for Inner Peace (55 minutes).
The Omoiyari Amethyst Wrap for Inner Peace (70 minutes) utilises a soothing gel to draw out toxins held in the body’s cells to revitalise the nervous system via a cocoon wrap. Finally, for the most in-depth treatment, the menu features the Omoiyari Ritual/Journey for Inner Peace (90/120 minutes). Derived from the Buddhist Karuna Kaya ritual, the treatment realigns and softens the muscular system to restore a smooth energy flow in the body.
