Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya Welcomes New General Manager Jonathan Reynolds

Surabaya, 16 October 2017 – Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya announces the appointment of Mr. Jonathan Reynolds to the position of General Manager.  Prior to his new post, Mr. Reynolds was the General Manager of Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa, Kota Kinabalu.

Mr. Reynolds graduated from Gloucester University with an honours degree in hotel management.  
He started his hospitality career in 1993 at Claridge’s as a post-graduate management trainee in London.  In the following five years, he was Reception Manager before becoming an Assistant Manager of food and beverage at The Ritz in London. 

In 1999, he joined One Aldwych in London, where he was groomed to be and became the Food and Beverage Director in 2002 and Rooms Division Director in 2006. He was promoted to Hotel Manager at The Goodwood Park Hotel in West Sussex in 2008 before he achieved the position of General Manager at Carlisle Bay, Antiqua in the West Indies since September 2009.

With rich knowledge gained in some of the fine hotels in the world and his passion for guests and colleagues alike, Mr. Reynolds will ensure the continuation of offering guest services at high standard and coaching and developing team members at Shangri-La Surabaya.
