Be Connected 24/7

Surabaya, Indonesia, 1 October 2013 – Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya proudly offers all guests free Wi-Fi and wired Internet access in all of its guestrooms and public areas, including restaurants. This new offer is expected to make surfing the Internet, making voice and video calls, playing flash games and videos even more enjoyable.

The hotel also provides complimentary broadband Internet service in all guestrooms as part of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ group-wide initiative launched in 2009. The service now covers all 80 of the group’s Shangri-La, Kerry and Traders hotels and resorts.

“Getting Internet access while on the road is no longer a rarefied luxury. We understand that travellers, whether business or leisure, need to be stay connected,” said Martin Brenner, General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya. “As part of the standard service by our international hotel group, each of our guests will enjoy free Wi-Fi connectivity everywhere in the hotel, whenever guest stay with us.”

Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya is the first five-star hotel in Surabaya to provide free Internet services in all guestrooms and public areas, including restaurants, using dual radio Wi-Fi, which provides a clearer channel for Internet Wi-Fi experience. The hotel will start providing this service on 1 October 2013 to give guests more benefits, keeping them connected the whole time they are at Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya.
