Flaky on the outside with a creamy surprise inside, this doughnut and croissant hybrid created by New York-based Chef Dominique Ansel has taken the world by storm. Each beautiful croinut is a work of culinary art, presenting a feast for the eyes and the palate. Made of laminated dough, it is filled with scrumptious cream and fried to a specific temperature. Each croinut is individually rolled in flavoured sugar as a finishing touch.
In conjunction with the Lunar New Year, Rasa Deli introduces croinut flavours that include a combination of fruity, tart and creamy tastes. Welcome the Year of the Golden Horse with Rasa Deli’s specially designed prosperity croinuts in the figure “8”. The number eight sounds like “luck” in Cantonese and the figure “8” is also the symbol of infinity. Priced at RM12.80+ per piece, the croinuts come in six flavours: Toffee Orange, Lemon Raspberry, Nutella Banana, Apple Crumble, Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla Oreo.
