Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta Presents An Egg-citing Easter Weekend

Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta invites guests to have an exciting Easter weekend with a range of fun-filled kids activities and extensive dining selections for family feast.

SATOO has prepared something extra to make this holiday special for children.  They can join the fun-filled cupcake decorating activities during brunch.  The little guests will even have their own dessert buffet.  For this holiday, the restaurant will present a special children’s dessert section filled with assorted kiddie pastries, such as Devil’s Food Cake, Angel’s Food Cake, Strawberry Pavlova, Carrot Cake with Mascarpone, Hen-Decorated Cupcakes and Profiteroles with Chocolate.

During the Easter weekend, the hotel’s little guests can also enjoy a range of Easter-themed activities at the Kids Zone, including egg painting and colouring Easter bunny pictures, amongst the usual favourites, such as the pony ride, bouncing castle, mini soccer, mini badminton, mini bicycle ride, puzzles and Lego set, art and craft corner, face painting, temporary tattoos, nail art, as well as cotton candy and popcorn.

For the Easter feast, the hotel will offer extensive dining options at SATOO, Rosso and Shang Palace to please the holiday palate.  SATOO presents its annual Easter brunch with extensive options of delectable Easter-themed dishes, including Ginger-and-Maple-Glazed Baked Ham, Potato Au Gratin with Three Cheeses, Dijon Rack of Lamb, Devilled Egg with Russian Salad, Hot Cross Buns, assorted Lamingtons and Oreo Cheesecake.  This special Easter buffet brunch can be enjoyed on 20 April 2014 for Rp398,000++, including coffee or tea.

At Rosso, Chef Paolo Gionfriddo will host an Italian Easter dining experience with bountiful options, from antipasti, cold cuts, cheese, pasta, main courses to dessert, including Artichoke alla Romana, Capon Consomme, Roasted Lamb Leg, Eggplant Parmigiana, Salmon Fillet in Sesame Crust, Beef Lasagne, Baba Napoletani, Cannoli Siciliani and Colomba Pasquale.  Rosso’s Italian Easter buffet is available for Rp675,000++ per person and includes free-flowing house wine and Prosecco.

For Shang Palace’s Easter brunch, the all-you-can-eat buffet menu will featured a range of Cantonese specialties, such as Steamed Live Scallop with Black Bean Sauce, Deep-Fried Crispy Crab Claw in Seafood Paste, Wok-Fried Chilli Crab, Braised Pork Leg with Red Preserved Sauce, Shredded Chicken with Char Choy and extensive options of dim sum, from steamed, fried, congee, barbecued and dessert.  These Cantonese Easter delights can be enjoyed for Rp268,000++ per person, including free-flowing Chinese Tea and Iced Lemon Tea.

For a celebration in the comfort of the guest’s home, SATOO Deli has prepared a range of Easter goodies to make the day merrier.  Guests can indulge in a range of holiday-themed treats, including Chocolate Eggs, Chocolate Rabbits, Hot Cross Buns, Cupcakes and Fraisier.  To highlight the season at home, guests can order the Easter special 3D cakes available in three variations: Easter Garden, Rabbit Kingdom and Egg-stravaganza.  These Easter delights are available throughout April 2014 at SATOO Deli.
