Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian Presents Unlimited Lobster Weekend Buffet at i Cafe

Dalian, China, 8 January 2014 – Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian invites guests to indulge in unlimited Boston lobster at i Cafe.  From now until 28 February 2014, enjoy lobster dishes prepared in various styles by newly appointed Executive Chef Bic every Friday to Sunday.  

Imported from Boston in the United States, these crustaceans are bigger and sweeter due to the conditions in which they are found.  They are also low in fat, rich in vitamins B and E, which play important roles in healthy skin maintenance and metabolism, as well as high in protein.  Freshly prepared at one of i Café’s six theatre kitchens are Baked Lobster with Lobster Morney Cheese Sauce, the all-time favourite Lobster Bisque and a touch of local flavour with Dalian Dumpling stuffed with Lobster Meat and Seasonal Vegetables.  

In addition to unlimited lobster dishes, diners can indulge in fresh sushi or sashimi in the Japanese corner, handmade Shanxi noodles with various condiments at the Asian station or international specialities from the Western kitchen. 

Gold Card members can also enjoy such benefits as 20 per cent discount on the total bill.  For every four paying adults, one dines for free; for five paying adults, two can dine for free. 

The Weekend Lobster Buffet is available for dinner from Friday to Sunday, until 28 February 2014.  It is priced at RMB388 nett per person. 

i Café, warm and cosy but contemporary in decor, is the trademark of the innovative Hong Kong interior design house, Steve Leung Designers. The restaurant appeals with warm organic earth tones and textures and modern granite food cooking stations.  The outdoor garden, which can be seen through the large glass facade running through the entire restaurant, will continue to add natural views and serenity to the restaurant’s ambience. 

With a seating capacity of 186,i Café is located on Level 1.  It is open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight and servesbreakfast, lunch, dinner and à la carte orders.  The interactive cooking–dining arena with six “action packed” cooking stations serve local Dalian seafood, delis, noodles, stir fry, barbecue, ice cream teppan and wonderful desserts.  Together, the cooking stations create a vibrant visual impact and sense of anticipation among guests.  A private dining room for 12 guests provides the perfect venue for special occasions and important business meals.
