SHANG PALACE WINS THE “OSCAR” OF FOOD AT TIMES FOOD & NIGHTLIFE AWARDS 2016

 Bengaluru, 14 December 2015 – Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru receives a prestigious dining award for “Best Chinese, Fine Dining, Bengaluru” for Shang Palace at the Times Food & Nightlife Awards 2016 held in Bengaluru on Friday, 11 December 2015. 

 

The Times Food & Nightlife Awards, also well known as the ‘Oscars of food’ are organised annually by Times of India group in 13 cities in India.  The winners are determined by votes from the food lovers of Bengaluru in a process held over a month.  Shang Palace was declared winner amongst the eight leading fine-dining restaurants in the city. 

 

Mr. Jens Corder, the hotel’s general manager, received the award with Executive Chinese Chef Lin Lin Yang and Restaurant Operations Manager Brian Yim at the awards’ grand ceremony and gala dinner. 

 

The awards reaffirm Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru’s commitment to ensuring the true authentic taste of traditional Chinese flavours and dishes through its 42-year history and delighting guests with its world-renowned warm Asian hospitality.
