In order to cook authentic cuisine for the Dalian food gourmet, Chef Suvaranarak is bringing with him many traditional Thai ingredients and sauces, including citronella, galangal, lemon, shallots, red pepper, fish sauce, shrimp sauce and coconut milk, all key ingredients in preparing authentic and spicy Thai food.
“I have met so many Chinese and Dalian travellers at Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai. They love Thai food so much and know many traditional Thai dishes without the chef’s recommendation or looking at the menu, like Tom Yam Kung, Deep-Fried Thai Fishcake and Mango Sticky Rice. I know Dalian residents love seafood, and I will specially prepare a lot of Thai seafood cuisine this time,” said Chef Suvaranark.
During the Thai food promotion period, i Café will be decorated with Thai accessories, including Thai orchids on the tables, Thai background music and colleagues in Thai costumes greeting guests in Thai with traditional Thai courtesy.
