The Festive Spirit At Arthur’s Bar And Grill

Kuala Lumpur, 29 November 2013 - Arthur’s Bar and Grill at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur gets into the spirit of the season with special lunch and dinner menus for Christmas and the New Year.

For the Christmas Eve dinner, guests can choose a three-course or four-course set menu. They can begin with Smoked Salmon and Seared Scallop or Tomato and Smoked Mozzarella Cheese with Arugula Salad, Corn Chowder or Truffle Oil-Perfumed White Asparagus Soup. The main course will be unlimited helpings of Traditional Roast Turkey with Walnut and Apple Stuffing and Mustard-Smeared Roasted Ribeye. This is followed by the traditional Christmas Pudding or Engadiner Walnut Tart as dessert.

It’s MYR148++ for the three-course menu, and MYR168++ for the four-course one.

On Christmas Day, there is a three-course and a four-course set menu. You can begin with Seared Tiger Prawn or Arthur’s Signature Caesar, Smoked Razor Clam Chowder Soup or Double-Boiled Veal Consomme. Main course will be Traditional Roast Turkey with Walnut and Apple Stuffing and Mustard-Smeared Roast Ribeye, followed by Chestnut and Fig Tart or Ginger Bread Cheese cake as dessert.

The three-course and four-course set menus with beef and turkey carving are priced at MYR148++ and MYR168++ per person respectively.

For the New Year’s Eve buffet dinner and countdown party from 7 p.m. onwards, Arthur’s Bar and Grill offers guests aged 18 and older a varied and generous spread of food.

The buffet dinner, priced at MYR208++ per person, features a wide array of fresh seafood such as Hokkaido scallops, mussels, tiger prawns, clams, baby lobsters, crab, oysters and salmon, as well as a wide selection of caviar at the caviar station. On the buffet too are roast turkey, lamb and prime rib. There is a salad bar, Japanese sushi counter and a large array of dessert to choose from.
