China World Hotel, Beijing Appoints Phillip Taylor as Chef de Cuisine at Aria

Beijing, 8 January 2014 – China World Hotel, Beijing presents Phillip Taylor as Aria Restaurant’s chef de cuisine who will lead the restaurant’s culinary team and kitchen operations.

Australian-born Phillip Taylor brings to Aria eight years of experience in culinary arts gained from working in leading restaurants in Australia, Europe and Asia. Prior to coming to Beijing, Chef Phillip was a senior sous chef at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney’s Altitude Restaurant. He has also worked in such Michelin-starred restaurants as Galvin at Windows and Pied a Terre in London.

The award-winning Aria, with its impeccable reputation built over 15 years of establishment, continues to distinguish itself as purveyors of contemporary European cuisine with set lunch and a la carte dinner menus that reflect Chef Phillip’s innovative cooking methods and his passion for using fresh produce and local resources.
