6. Why are the rates shown on the website different from the rate list you are showing on social media?

The prices displayed on our social media platforms represent the room rates quoted per night, inclusive of 10% service charge and applicable government taxes. On the website, the room rates shown are exclusive of the service charge and applicable government taxes. However, please note that the offer requires a minimum stay of two nights to proceed with the booking.

 

7. Are there any discounted add-ons that we may purchase with this offer?

Absolutely! You can enhance your experience with discounted add-ons available on our website and mobile application. We offer discounted dining and spa add-ons that can be applied to any of our offers on both platforms. By purchasing add-on dining credits, you can enjoy up to 15% off when dining in our restaurants during your stay.

8. How come the dates I want to book are not on sale?

Our room availability may vary, and we apologize if your preferred booking dates are not available. However, we encourage you to explore alternative stay dates until 22 December 2026, to plan your paradise escape.

 

9. Do I have to pay when booking through the website and mobile application?

To finalize your booking through our website or mobile application, a credit card prepayment for the entire duration of your stay will be required.

 

10. I don’t have a credit card. How else can I pay?

11. I am a Shangri-La Circle member, how will I get the PHP 500 nightly dining credit?

Upon check-in, once your Shangri-La Circle membership is verified, a dining credit of PHP 500 net per night will be applied. Please remember that this dining credit can only be used during your stay. If you have multiple room bookings, the dining credit will only apply to the room where the Shangri-La Circle member is staying. However, guests have the option to sign up for membership at any point during their stay.

 

12. What happens if I am unable to utilize the full amount of my dining and spa credit add-ons during my stay? In addition, what if I exceeded the amount of my purchased add-ons?

During your stay, your dining credits can be accumulated per night. However, please note that they cannot be converted into cash or vouchers. Any unused dining or spa credits will be forfeited upon check-out. If your total dining and spa expenses exceed the value of the awarded credits and purchased add-ons, you can easily settle the remaining balance with cash or credit card upon check-out.

 

13. Can I avail of the PHP 500 dining credit even if I am currently not a Shangri-La Circle member?

The dining credit of PHP 500 per night is exclusive to Shangri-La Circle members only. Joining Shangri-La Circle is quick, easy, and free of charge. Simply sign up through this link to enjoy this special benefit, along with other exclusive offers and promotions.

 

14. Can I cancel and refund my booking in case I am unable to travel?

The Escape to Paradise online sale offers you the flexibility with one-time rebooking until 13 December 2026, based on room availability. If there is a rate difference during the rebooking process, the payment can be settled upon your arrival. Remember to rebook at least 7 days before your intended stay. Please note that we can only accommodate cancellation and refund requests if resort operations are suspended.

 

15. Can I purchase a booking under my name and endorse it to someone else in case I'm unable to travel?

You can transfer your reservation to another guest, but selling your booking is not permitted. To initiate the transfer, please email us a request along with a copy of the initial booking confirmation. In the same email, provide the full name and contact details of the new guest(s) to ensure a smooth processing of your request.

 

16. Can my family of four, consisting of two adults and two children, stay in the same room?

Guest comfort and convenience are important to us. Our rooms can accommodate families, as long as the selected room category allows for a maximum occupancy of two adults and two children aged 11 years and below. However, please be aware that our Treehouse Villa is designed for two adults only.

17. Can I use my senior citizen/PWD/athletes’/other discount when booking?

This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts available during the same period. However, senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are eligible for a 12% VAT exemption.

 

18. I can’t reach the resort number. Is there a mobile number I can call?

19. Can you allow an extra person in the room? Other resorts are not very strict with maximum occupancy.

Yes, we can accommodate additional guests based on the maximum occupancy of the room category. However, please note that extra person charges will apply. For rooms and suites, the charge is PHP 4,289.25 net per night, while for villas, it is PHP 6,127.50 net per night. These charges include breakfast and roundtrip land and speedboat transfers via Caticlan airport.

 

20. Are there any additional charges that must be settled upon arrival?

Please be aware of the following fees:

    • Terminal Fee: As per Aklan Province General Ordinance number 2022-021 section 29.3, there is a terminal fee of PHP 300 for guests arriving in and departing from Boracay Island. However, residents of Aklan province with proof of residence, non-residents of Aklan with proof of Aklanon lineage, holders of a valid terminal pass, and children aged five (5) years old and below are exempt from this fee.

    • Environmental Fee: The municipality of Aklan requires the collection of an environmental fee of PHP 150 from each local tourist aged 12 years and above who resides outside the province of Aklan. For foreign nationals, the fee is PHP 300. Filipino senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and students are eligible for a twenty percent (20%) discount on this fee.

Please note that these fees will be collected upon check-out.

 

21. I have an upcoming wedding, can I or my guests book this offer?

Couples cannot book this offer to fulfill the minimum room requirement stated in their contract. However, couples and their guests are welcome to book this offer in addition to their minimum room requirement.
