Shangri-la Hotel, Yangzhou, the first luxury five-star hotel in the city opened its Health Club on 3 June 2013. Occupying more than 2,000 square metres(21,528 square feet) on the hotel's third floor, the Health Club is Yangzhou's largest hotel gymnasium and is complete with a 25-metre heated indoor swimming pool - maintained at a constant 28 degrees Celsius - that provides access to an outdoor sundeck, steam and sauna, a jacuzzi, hot and cold plunge pools, outdoor tennis court, as well as private treatment rooms.
The spacious recreational area, bathed in natural light from the six-metre floor-to-ceiling window, houses as mixture of ultra-modern cardiovascular and strength machines, and free weights. Vibration training and stretching stations in addition to on-site certified instructors are available to tailor training regimes for guests.
Massages such as Aroma, Hot Stone and traditional Tui Na, as well as Oriental Wellness, Deep Tissue therapy and Yangzhou's famous foot reflexology may be enjoyed in one of the Health Club's five treatment rooms.
The Health Club is also equipped with television, headsets, a mobile phone charging station, magnetic lockers and showers in the changing rooms.
