How to Spa at Chi
At Chi, The Spa at Shangri-La Vancouver, we are dedicated to creating a serene environment for every guest. To help ensure a seamless and relaxing experience, we kindly ask that you review the following guidelines prior to your visit.
Preparing for your treatment
We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled treatments to allow for time to check-in and complete a pre-treatment screening questionnaire. Please note that should you arrive late, your treatment length may be shortened with no reduction in price.
Meeting your needs
Upon arrival, an associate will conduct a brief consultation to ensure that you have the treatments suited to your needs. Please advise the consultant if you are pregnant or have any health issues For hotel guests staying more than one night, our team would be delighted to help you plan a personalized spa itinerary.
What to wear
There is no need to bring or wear any special clothing, as spa wear is provided in your treatment suite.
Privacy
Your privacy will be protected at all times. Your therapist will leave you to change in private. Throughout the treatment you will be draped with towels, covering all parts of the body not being worked upon.
Arrival time

Parking
Guests are welcome to valet park or self park at the hotel, located on 1128 West Georgia Street, Vancouver. Valet and self-parking can be accessed at 1129 Alberni Street.
Children
Children under 16 years of age are not permitted in the spa.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will be charged at the full treatment price.
Your comfort
We strive to create a deeply personalized spa experience. If at any time you would like adjustments—such as massage pressure, temperature, sound, or lighting—please don’t hesitate to let your therapist know. We appreciate your feedback and kindly encourage you to fill out our guest survey following your treatment.
Mobile device policy
To preserve the peaceful ambiance within the spa, we kindly ask that all mobile phones and electronic devices be silenced or turned off upon arrival.
