This Mid-Autumn Festival, savour sweet reunions with family and friends with a collection of signature baked and snowskin mooncakes crafted from the finest ingredients.
Highlights this year include the Limited Edition – Origin Bar Cocktail Snowskin Mooncake concoction, paired with a bottle of cocktail crafted by Origin Bar; exquisite Shangri-La Mooncake Selection Gift Box that comes in three different flavours including 50-year-aged Yunnan mandarin peel, rose and red bean paste; Moon Rabbit Kid’s Mooncakes - four pieces of mini baked Oreo milk mooncakes housed in a packaging shaped like a rabbit that transforms into a lantern. Making a return are the Signature Mini Baked Custard with Bird’s Nest and the Premium Mao Shan Wang Durian Snowskin Mooncakes.
The hotel continues to delight with its baked classics – the popular Shang Palace Four Treasures, Reduced Sugar White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Yolk and Single Yolk. Making its debut is the Yam with Red Bean and Shredded Coconut, yam and red bean are blended to form a smooth paste, before shredded coconut is introduced to give the pastry a satisfying bite. Each comes in a hexagonal box with four drawers, available in three colours of red, turquoise and gold, and embellished with peonies that symbolize luck and prosperity.
