1.The Contest includes five individual challenges spanning two weeks each, dates listed as follow:
  • Challenge #1: HKT 12:00 noon on 14 December 2015 to HKT 11:59:59 a.m. on 28 December 2015
  • Challenge #2: HKT 12:00 noon on 4 January 2016 to HKT 11:59:59 a.m. on 18 January 2016
  • Challenge #3: HKT 12:00 noon on 25 January 2016 to HKT 11:59:59 a.m. on 8 February 2016
  • Challenge #4: HKT 12:00 noon on 15 February 2016 to HKT 11:59:59 a.m. on 29 February 2016
  • Challenge #5: HKT 12:00 noon on 7 March 2016 to HKT 11:59:59 a.m. on 21 March 2016
  • For any submissions that fall between challenge dates, they will be carried forward to the subsequent challenge.
2. This campaign is open to anyone aged over 18, regardless of whether they are a current Golden Circle member.
3. Entrants can submit entries in the form of (i) A simple statement; or (ii) a still photo; or (iii) a video, illustrating what ‘Loyalty' means to them.
4. Entrants can enter the Contest via two mechanics (i) Enter via posting to the selected social media platforms using the hashtag #LoyaltyIs, tag the official Shangri-La page and set the post privacy as public; or (ii) Enter via a form on the campaign site

5. Articles can be from a minimum of 50 words to a maximum of 800 words in either English or Chinese (Traditional and Simplified Chinese is accepted). Images should be in JPEG format, up to 5MB per image. Video files should be uploaded to Instagram (up to 15 seconds), Youtube or Youku (up to 2 minutes) in English, Putonghua and Cantonese only.
6. Any posts not in line with the theme of “loyalty” or deemed inappropriate or non-compliant with these Contest rules for any reason will not be posted for public viewing and will not be eligible for the Contest.
7. The entry will be published on the campaign site, upon approval of the moderator, 1 working day after submission.
8. Only entries published on the campaign site will be considered as eligible entries. If entrants cannot see their post on the campaign site, they will have to resubmit through the campaign site submission form.
9. Entries that have won prizes in other contests or that have been submitted to other contests currently underway are not eligible for this campaign.
10. All entries' copyright are released to Golden Circle upon submission.
11. Five million (5,000,000) GC Award Points will be given away to 250 winners over five individual challenges. 1,000,000 GC Award Points will be given away in each individual challenge as stated in clause 1 above.
12. All entries will be judged jointly by Golden Circle and the KOL based on relevance to #LoyaltyIs (60%) and ability to inspire (40%). The judges' decision will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
13. Each winner will receive 20,000 GC Award Points. Entrants can participate in all 5 individual challenges and may submit as many entries as they wish but each entrant can only win once.
14. One grand prize winner will be selected out of the two hundred and fifty winners for the “This is Loyalty” Shangri-La Experience. A separate set of terms and conditions listed below apply.
15. The results will be announced on the campaign site on the following dates for each challenge and the grand prize respectively:
  • Challenge #1: 6 January 2016 (HK Time)
  • Challenge #2: 29 January 2016 (HK Time)
  • Challenge #3: 19 February 2016 (HK Time)
  • Challenge #4: 16 March 2016 (HK Time)
  • Challenge #5: 1 April 2016 (HK Time)
  • Grand Prize: 1 April 2016 (HK Time)
16. Winners will be notified individually by Golden Circle through respective social media channels' direct messaging function (point of entry) or email when entered via campaign site. Winners will receive an online redemption form in the form of a URL link. The winner must possess a valid Golden Circle membership number to claim the prize.
17. Winners will be given 14 days claiming period. Prizes will be considered forfeited if the winner does not reply to the inbox message within 14 working days after the winner acknowledgement is sent. Prizes will then be given to the back-up winners.
18. It is the sole responsibility of winner to provide a valid email and to be aware of any inbox messages on social media platforms. The claiming period will not be extended under any circumstances.
19. The 20,000 GC Award Points will be credited to member's account four weeks after the contest ends on 21 March 2016.
20. The prize cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, credit or any other item.
21. Golden Circle membership and GC Award Points are non-transferable. Joint accounts and multiple enrolments by a single person are not allowed.
22. New Golden Circle members who enrol under this campaign cannot merge their accounts with any other Golden Circle account.
23. Golden Circle reserves the right to amend any terms and conditions stated herein and may withdraw or discontinue the campaign at any time without prior notice.
24. If this English version of the Terms and Conditions does not conform to other language versions, the English version shall prevail.

1. One grand prize winner will receive a round trip package for two to any destination with Shangri-La hotel or resort of the winner's choice.
2. The package includes: Round trip economy class air fare for two from their country of origin to the selected destination with Shangri-La hotel or resort of the winner's choice, a 5-night stay in a suite with daily breakfast, a round trip airport transfer and a 5 years GC Diamond membership.
3. The winner and companion must travel on the same itinerary.
4. The complimentary stay is valid for double occupancy in an Executive Suite or equivalent and includes tax and service charges.
5. The Prize is valid until 31 March 2017 at any Shangri-La hotel or resort.
6. Prior reservation is required and is subject to availability of the flight seats and rooms at the time of reservation.
7. The package must be redeemed on or before 31 March 2017 and all travel must be completed by 31 May 2017.
8. The GC Diamond membership is valid until 31 March 2022.
9. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
10. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.
