To help guests enjoy their domestic holidays with greater peace of mind, Shangri-La will provide local residents the newly introduced AIG StaySurance Personal Accident Cover, at no additional charge.

 

Personal accident coverage commences at 6am or upon check-in, whichever is earlier on the check-in date, and ends at 6pm or upon check-out, whichever is later on the check-out date—and covers mishaps that might strike unexpectedly even when you are out and about, enjoying the sights and activities during your staycation.

StaySurance Coverage Benefits & FAQs

Underwritten by AIG, highlights of the coverage include daily hospital cash benefit of up to USD 100 per day in the event if the registered guest is hospitalised due to an accident or infectious disease; coverage for emergency outpatient expenses to treat an injury due to accident and ambulance expenses. The policy also provides USD 50,000 to each registered guest in the unfortunate event of accidental death or permanent disablement. Guests can contact a dedicated AIG customer service team for assistance during their staycation if they need to.

Automatic Enrolment

Guests will be automatically covered under the StaySurance Personal Accident coverage, at no additional charge, when they book stays with participating Shangri-La Group properties for eligible check-in dates.

 

Kindly note that the coverage will only be applicable for guests who complete their stay with us. A pre-requisite prior to AIG assessing the StaySurance medical claims form would be the claimant has to be a registered/checked-in guest at the hotel.
