Fiji is a blend of fascinating ancient cultures, with tranquil
villages nestled off the beaten path. Rituals such as the kava ceremony are enacted as they have been for centuries, and
visitors are welcomed as honoured guests.
There are two major islands in the group: Viti Levu and Vanua
Levu. Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Spa, Yanuca, Fiji, is located on the
western side of Viti Levu. A short causeway connects our private island to the
main island, making for easy day trips to explore this treasure of the South
Pacific.
