Traders Hotel, Yangon has completed the upgrading of its all-day dining restaurant Traders Café, Summer Palace and Function rooms. These upgrades are a culmination of Shangri-La's commitment to continuously improve its facilities and services.

As we move into 2013, we continue with the refurbishment of hotel rooms. This involves noisy work between  9am and 6pm and we request that you plan your day accordingly. There is no renovation work on Sundays or public holidays.

We would like to take this opportunity to advise all guests that, despite recent media reports, credit cards and travellers cheques are not accepted for transactions in Myanmar.  However, the Traders Hotel has arrangements to accept VISA and Master Card only for payment of hotel bills for which a 4% surcharge applies.

Please permit us to ask for your understanding, as we strive to make positive changes offering you a better stay in the future.
