Chinese Sous Chef Zhang Nan
Born in Xian, Chinese Sous Chef Zhang
Nan started as a kitchen apprentice at the age of 15, and has since chalked up
more than 15 years of culinary experience.
His passion for
Chinese cuisine, creativity and superb culinary skill has led him to excel in
Cantonese, Sichuan and Shaanxi popular cuisine. He holds a Gold Medal award for
“Best Cooking Skills”.
Zhang joined Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel, Xian, in 2000 and has participated
in Shangri-La Culinary Journey, promoting his cuisine in 10 different
cities from 2004 to 2005.
