Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver Reopens on May 7 with New Restaurant Partnership and Bespoke Luxury Experiences

On May 7, 2021, the award-winning five-star Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver will re-open its doors with luxury experiential packages that include private helicopter tour with in-flight champagne, exclusive private shopping packages, an exclusive opportunity to pilot a new Lamborghini and more.

The hotel will also introduce guests to a brand-new dining destination and restaurant concept in partnership with the award-winning Kitchen Table Restaurants (Ask For Luigi, Di Beppe, Farina a Legna, Pizzeria Farina, Pourhouse), led by Kitchen Table Culinary Director Alex Tung. 

Tung has always had a passionate relationship with food and the restaurant industry, having cooked in some of the top kitchens around the world and working with culinary legends such as Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Daniel Boulud and Christian Delouvrierl. Tung has since planted roots in Vancouver, working in some of the city’s most celebrated restaurants, and has bolstered his culinary resume by serving as a hospitality and culinary consultant and brand ambassador.

Shangri-La Elevates Luxury in Vancouver

Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver welcomes guests to experience the hotel and destination like never before. Guests can sightsee and relax with the Luxurious Perspectives: Helicopter Views and Spa Suites offering a private helicopter tour with in-flight champagne and a private spa experience in one of CHI, The Spa’s relaxing spa suites. 

The hotel will launch a series of new and exciting experiences, focused on the best Vancouver has to offer. These one-of-a kind experiences will include a curated Lamborghini experience, an exclusive private shopping rendezvous, a stay and dine culinary journey and more. 

Guests can take luxury home with products from the hotel’s recently launched online retail shop. The shop features Shangri-La Group favorites such as Essence of Shangri-La candles and products, as well as hotel-specific items including CHI, The Spa bath bombs and oils, KIP Sleepwear cotton pajama sets with gold silk sleep masks, CODAGE Paris products such as creams, oils and serums, and more.
