Wellness in Vancouver: CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver Will Reopen on October 1, 2020

Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver’s award-winning CHI, The Spa is set to reopen on October 1, 2020. Guests seeking relaxation and contentment can re-center their chi and continue the remainder of 2020 anew with CHI, The Spa’s licensed therapists along with special spa gifts and discounts. 

Upon their first visit, guests who book a spa treatment in October will receive a special CHI, The Spa gift bag including a selection of; a face mask, lip mask, bath bomb, bath salts and more. CHI, The Spa will also offer 20 percent off all branded products, including a selection of scented bath bombs, soaps, bath salts and other products. 

Open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, CHI, The Spa will welcome guests to its tranquil haven in the heart of the city. Inspired by traditional Asian healing philosophies, all treatments are based upon the principles of restoring balance and harmony to the mind and body. Unique to CHI, The Spa in Vancouver is an exclusive selection of treatments inspired by the natural beauty of the West Coast of British Columbia. These treatments utilize certified organic products, made using hand-harvested wild seaweeds from the pristine coastlines of Vancouver Island.

Guests will experience the healing and therapeutic hands of trained professionals, including registered massage therapists (RMTs) and a wide selection of massages designed to cater to a guest needs. 

CHI, The Spa is taking extensive measures to protect guests and employees. In line with Shangri-La Cares, Shangri-La Group’s enhanced health and safety commitment, the enhanced measures include but are not limited to physical distancing guidelines, mandatory screening for all guests and employees, wearing masks or cloth face covering at all times, increased frequency of cleaning with disinfecting chemicals that have been proven effective in preventing virus transmission and more. Prior to arrival, guests will be required to complete a pre-treatment screening questionnaire. 

Appointments must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. No walk-ins or same-day reservations will be permitted. The swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna will remain temporarily closed.
