Head Chef Koichi Ota
Prior to his appointment in Singapore, head chef Koichi Ota was Assistant Chief Chef at Nadaman, Imperial Hotel, Osaka, a position he assumed in 2006.
Head Chef Ota began his
career with the Nadaman group of restaurants in April 1981 as a trainee. He
then rose through the ranks to become Assistant Chief Chef of Nadaman at RIHGA
Royal Hotel, Osaka and subsequently, Assistant Chief Chef of Nadaman at Imperial Hotel, Osaka.
With more than two decades of culinary experience honed by Nadaman’s stringent culinary standards, Head Chef Ota is well-versed in all areas of Japanese culinary techniques. He says, "My work is based on perfecting my skills."
