Jade on 36 Restaurant Presents Dine with Pascal Aussignac

Pudong, China, 28 April 2014 – Jade on 36 Restaurant at Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai presents the Dine with Pascal Aussignac wine dinner on 19 and 20 May 2014. Chef Pascal Aussignac, a French national Michelin starred chef from Britain, is ready to rock the city.

For two nights only, Chef Pascal will take over the helm at Jade on 36 to bring a French South West culinary storm in town. Six glasses of selected wine will be paired with a six-course dinner of Chef Pascal’s award winning dishes such as Pressed Foie Gras and Crab, Cappuccino of Black Pudding, Lobster and Asparagus Amber Tulip, Saffron and Mouclade, Roast Rabit, Octopus Shavings, Braised Fennel, Roquefort Macaroon, Crushed Rancio and Peated Whisky and Black Olive Millionaire, Thyme Ice Cream and Lemon Gel.

Club Gascon remains Chef Pascal's flagship restaurant, holding a Michelin star and having been awarded a myriad awards since opening in the late nineties. Its accolades include Best New Restaurant (Time Out), Restaurant of the Year (AA Guide and Good Food Guide) and Best French Restaurant (Hotel and Restaurant Awards). In 2007, Club Gascon was awarded the ultimate peer group accolade of Restaurant of the Year by The Caterer magazine.

About Chef Pascal Aussignac

Chef Pascal Aussignac hails from Toulouse in the South West of France, where foie gras, duck, fine charcuterie, cassoulet, good wines and Armagnac are the order of the day. He trained with French Master Chefs Gerard Vie, Alain Dutournier and Guy Savoy. His love for food and attention to detail have been delighting foodies and critics in London since 1998.

A Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur, he cooks at and oversees in close collaboration with business partner Vincent Labeyrie eight award-winning restaurants in London. All restaurants have a slightly different culinary theme, but celebrate the food of France and of his beloved homeland of Gascony.

Well-respected in the industry, Chef Pascal has kept his dedication to the cuisine he loves and passion: he still cooks at Club Gascon every day, looks after the floral arrangement at all his restaurants, and keeps surprising the London foodie scene.
