Inspired by travel adventures and Singapore’s storied past, Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore’s Origin Grill & Bar mark their illustrious first year with a specially curated Spring-inspired degustation menu at Origin Grill and anniversary party featuring brand new cocktails at Origin Bar.

A Spring-inspired Anniversary Degustation Menu at Origin Grill 

In celebration of Origin Grill’s first anniversary, Chef de Cuisine Heidi Flanagan presents a Spring-inspired degustation menu highlighting the provenance and unique flavours of fresh quality-driven ingredients. The menu is available for dinners from 16 to 30 January 2019. In addition, guests dining on 16 January 2019 will receive a glass of champagne. 

Highlights of the menu include Lombok lobster and handmade scallion raviolo, olive oil poached ocean trout with celery root, soy bean and hijiki. Other dishes include French duck breast with chamomile scented salsify poached in a stock infused with chamomile and Yukimuro snow-aged beef with bone marrow soil and Jerusalem artichoke. The meat and seafood are from sustainable sources while vegetables come from local farms.

Origin Bar’s First Anniversary Party 

On 17 January 2019, Origin Bar will celebrate its first anniversary party from 7 p.m., featuring brand new cocktails with the remained concept of inspiration from local ingredients by the five key districts of Singapore: Orchard, Chinatown, Little India, Boat Quay and Marina Bay. Cocktails are exclusively available at $11++ per glass throughout the night and can be enjoyed with bar bites and live music.

At Origin Bar, timeless and ingenious convene through cocktails inspired by five key districts of Singapore, namely: Orchard, Chinatown, Little India, Boat Quay and Marina Bay.
