Public Transit

Trains

Trains offer an efficient, scenic way of travelling within China. Trains link almost all parts of the country with reliable service.

You may travel in one of four classes: Soft Seat or Soft Sleeper with air-conditioning; and the Hard Seat or Hard Sleeper.

Trains depart daily for Shenyang, Beijing, Dalian, and Shanghai (1 to 11-hour journey by train).

Buses

The long-distance bus station is located at 8899 Renmin Dajie. Buses depart daily for Beijing, Dalian, Harbin, Jilin and Shenyang.

Express buses from Jilin arrive at the Changchun express bus station on Renmin Dajie in the southern part of town.

Taxis

Taxis in Changchun are metered, with fares starting at CNY 8 (USD 1.3). Taxis can be hired for a day and the fare is negotiable. Taxis are available at the hotel or may be hailed from the street.
