Chef Renard invites guests to delight in saccharine treats and enjoy an exciting class with a partner as he conducts a Sweet Summer Duet, a dessert making class on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 1 to 5 p.m. Attendees will learn how to create innovative desserts with unusual and exciting flavor combinations, such as basil panna cotta with green apple and fennel salad, chocolate mousse with Maltesers and Mikado, and a chocolate cremeux with olive oil on toasted bread and sea salt. Seats are limited and priced at Php 6,000 net per pair. Price includes high tea and a glass of sparkling wine.
Chef Romain Renard’s 20 years of patisserie experience in the kitchens of Michelin-rated restaurants and five-star hotels from around the world has made him a pastry master and he promises that the class will be casual and fun, as well as highly informative. “It will be like welcoming them all into my kitchen at home,” states Chef Renard. “What our guests can expect to take away from this class is that creating a dessert together is just as enjoyable as eating it.”
