Yeung Wai Hai takes tradition onto the modern stage. He specializes in
authentic Cantonese cuisine, having apprenticed under a master chef during his
early years as a young chef. Chef Yeung’s talent lies in the innovative presentation
of these time-honoured dishes. His first entry into the HOFEX garnered him a
gold award for modern Chinese cuisine.
Growing up in Hong Kong, Chef Yeung was easily
lured into the kitchen by his love for food. The Cantonese style appealed to
him as this cuisine emphasises the distinct flavours the main ingredients. That
is why the emphasis of each dish is on freshness and quality to ensure a
perfect taste.
