Edsa Shangri-La Manila Celebrates the Holy Week with Easter Enticements

The hotel’s Bakeshop presents guests with colorful Easter bunnies and eggs made from premium chocolate and other mouthwatering treats to take home to share or give away as gifts.

Edsa Shangri-La, Manila presents enticing Easter-themed offerings for rooms, events and dining for the Holy Week.   

Families looking to take the time to reflect and be spirited away amidst a cool, tropical city oasis may take advantage of the hotel’s Easter Escapades room packages.  Guests can stay for three nights and pay only for two, with rates starting from P6,500++ from March 25 to 28, 2013, and P7,700++ from March 29 to 31, 2013, or stay for two nights and get the first night at 50 per cent less.  The packages include luxurious accommodation; buffet breakfast for two at HEAT, the all-day dining restaurant; and unlimited complimentary wired and wireless Internet, Health Club and pool access.  Entertainment, leisure and religious centers are close by.

As an added treat to mark the end of Holy Week and in celebration of Easter Sunday, Edsa Shangri-La, Manila presents “Return to Oz” at the hotel’s Garden Ballroom on March 31, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The children’s costume party, inspired by the fairy-tale classic, features an Easter Egg Hunt, a hearty children’s lunch, face painting, glitter tattoo, arts and crafts and more fun‑filled activities.  The event will also highlight an enchanting performance by the “Wizard of Oz.”  The hotel’s “Return to Oz” is priced at P1,350 net per person, including children’s meals. 

Diners may also “hop” their way at HEAT, the all-day dining restaurant, to over 10 interactive theater kitchens filled with an “Easter Funfare” buffet lunch of international favorites on Easter Sunday.  Fun and exciting activities await as children are invited to hunt for the elusive Golden Easter Egg and participate in parlor games and magic tricks.  The “Easter Funfare” buffet lunch is priced at P1,788++ per person.
