Grilled Salmon Steak


  • 200g salmon steak (unskinned)
  • 75g fennel
  • 60g potatoes, peeled
  • 1 pc lime
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 40g butter
  • 20g onions, chopped
  • 10g garlic, chopped
  • 10g chives, chopped
  • 30g cooking cream
  • 500ml water


  1. Marinate salmon in salt, pepper and lime juice for 1 minute.
  2. Grill the salmon for 1 minute on both sides, then oven bake at 160°C for 8 minutes.
  3. In an oven-proof container, combine salt, pepper, garlic, onion, fennel buds and water. Cover with foil and put in the oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Boil peeled potatoes until tender, and mash.
  5. In a separate pan, melt butter, sauté garlic and gradually add in cream, mashed potatoes. Season with salt, pepper and chopped chives to taste.
  6. To serve, arrange braised fennel buds and mashed potatoes on a plate and top with grilled salmon.
