Ms Magali Navarro recently joined Jade on 36 Restaurant at Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai as restaurant manager. In this new role, she will lead the restaurant’s daily operations and strategy.
This is Ms Navarro’s first post in China. Prior to her appointment at Jade on 36 Restaurant, she was assistant restaurant manager at L’Atelier Restaurant de Joel Robuchon at Resorts World, Singapore.
A French national, Ms Navarro brings with her 10 years of experience in fine dining, having worked in multiple Michelin star restaurants under celebrity chefs Tetsuya and Joel Robuchon. She bags experiences throughout France, England and Spain in Europe, and more recently, Australia and Singapore from Australasia.
She graduated from an elite academic line with a sommelier diploma, catering and management formation, CAP, BEP and Baccalaureate Professional Hotelier from the Centre Europeen de Formation Hoteliere.
Ms Navarro aims to use her time in Shanghai’s culinary scene to raise the city’s level of service by leading with Jade on 36 Restaurant. She emphasises that “attention to detail with style is the essence of crème de la crème service.”
