In keeping with the traditional spirit of family get-together, Harbour Cafe offers an array of home-style and traditional dishes from 28 June to 29 July 2014. With over 60 types of dishes each day, from refreshing appetisers to satisfying desserts, guests will be spoilt for choice in this truly hearty feast.
The chef and his brigade of enthusiastic cooks will display their culinary prowess as diners savour their creations. With six sets of buffet menus rotating daily, the dining adventure can start with a medley of traditional appetisers consisting of Kerabu Sotong, Rojak Buah, Jeruk Mangga and Chef's special Vegetable Acar. Western and Chinese appetisers such as Fresh Salad with a myriad of dressings and Cold Cuts are also available. The more adventurous will enjoy the signature Singapore Sup Gearbox and Bubur Lambuk; expertly made to ensure a full and wholesome taste.
Main courses include such favourites as Roasted Whole Lamb Kuzi, Nasi Pelangi (with choices of Udang Masak Gulai Nenas, Ayam Percik Utara, Siput Masak Lemak, Ikan Bakar and more). All mentioned dishes are served with piping hot Steamed Rice and eaten with delightful condiments such as Ulam-Ulaman, Serunding, Tempoyak and Spicy Sambal Belacan (chilli paste).
Those who prefer more dinner options will be happy to know that the buffet spread also serves different types of noodles such as Chicken Noodle Soup, Curry Laksa and Mee Bandung at allocated stations daily.
Harbour Cafe has more to offer. Special allocated stations will offer perennial favourites such as Murtabak, Roti Canai, Dim Sum, Chee Cheong Fun and the ever-popular Beef and Chicken Satay with all its condiments.
Guest should leave some space for sweet endings as they would not want to miss the selection of satisfying desserts. The range of local sweets such as Bubur Cha-Cha, Durian Tempura and assorted Kuih-Muih is a feast to the eyes and a treasure chest of yummy ingredients. An array of Western-style mousses and creams, jellies, tarts, cakes and crumbles will satisfy the sweet tooth. For certain, this buffet dinner will leave you satiated and feeling wholesome.
