Unending adventures in electrifying Beihai

Silver Beach

Silver Beach was named such because of the fine quartz sand glittering across its lengthy shoreline. Stretching across 24 kilometres in the southern part of Beihai City, Silver Beach is one of China’s premier coastal attractions.

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of sporting activities at the beach. The inviting ocean is safe and pleasant for swimming, motor boating, wind surfing and yachting.

Weizhou and Xieyang Islands

36 nautical miles offshore Beihai are Weizhou and Xieyang Islands. They have the largest underwater volcanoes in China and offer the region’s finest bird-watching and diving.

The Jinhaiwan Tourism Transportation Company offers boat trips to the magnificent coral reefs. The hotel can help you arrange a day-trip to visit the special underwater treasures.

Star Island Lake

Situated 52 kilometres from Beihai City, the Hongchao reservoir is home to the dazzling Star Island Lake. The beautiful mountainous region in Guangxi Zhuang, with its rolling topography, has caused the lake to be speckled with 1,026 islands.

The lushly forested islets reflected in the clear blue waters of the lake resemble a star filled sky, giving rise to the name of the lake.
