Exploring Zhongshan
Just north of Sun Wen Xi is Zhongshan Park, one of the city’s most scenic and pleasantly wooded areas. Here, on Yandun Hill is Fufeng Culturtal Pagoda, which was listed as one of the 8 scenic spots of Xiangshan during the reign of Kangxi. Built in 1608, there are 302 steps to the top of the Pagoda, which is beautifully illuminated at night.
