Wuhan’s Hankou train station is on the main line running between Beijing and Guangzhou; express trainst to Kunming, Xi’an, Hong Kong and Lanzhou run via Wushan. Trains to Shanghai depart from the station in Wuchang.
Bus routes crisscross the city, although chances are likely that you will need to make a line transfer in order to reach your destination. Enquire with the hotel staff about selecting the most effective bus route.
The Hankou-Wuchang ferry line is a fast way of crossing the Yangtze during the day. Again, please enquire with the hotel staff about selecting the most effective ferry as boats differ in size and speed.
The city’s main long-distance bus station is in Hankou. From here, there are daily departures to Nanchang, Shanghai and Changsha and points beyond.
